Name: Dean Thomas
Age: 12
OC or Canon: Canon
Year in Hogwarts: 2nd
House: Gryffindor
Blood Status: Half-Blood
Wand: Unicorn Tail Hair, Redwood
Uniform: Nothing out of the Ordinary.
Family background: Mrs. Thomas (Mother,) Mr. Thomas (Step-Father,) 4 half-sisters; Thomas' biological father was killed by death eaters after he left Dean and his mother. His mother was a muggle and remarried.
Personality: Dean's pretty easy going. He has a cool head about him, a pretty gentle nature. Dean is very non-prejudice. He'll gladly back a friend who's not popular and will stand up for someone if they're being mistreated for being who they are. Because he was raised as a muggle, Dean's got a couple of things in the wizarding world backwards but he's catching on. Dean loves sports of all kinds. He's also very good with a quill from drawing and art to writing with precision.
Sample: Dean lifted his head slightly from where it was resting on his hand. The youth ran a few fingers through his thick curled hair and leaned back on the plush Gryffindor common room couch. He breathed out. Bored wizard was bored. He was so used to having his sisters running around him he now pretty much hated being alone. But a cold had kept him back from classes so sitting in front of the fire with a glass of hot chocolate he was waiting for Ron, Seamus or Harry to return. He perked up finally and returned to his room, snatching a quill and a few pieces of parchment from his desk.
He began to doodle while the others were gone. An owl, a lion, a griffon. He was just doodling to keep him from being bored. He wished there was an art class he could take or at least a club. But it seemed as if all he would get would be not paying attention during lessons and sketching a few drawings here and there.
He shrugged and held up the rather impressive doodles. "Perhaps I can show these to the guys when they return," he pondered, "Just if-ACHOOO!"
