Name: Harry Potter
Age: 12
OC or Canon: Canon
Year in Hogwarts: Second
House: Gryffindor
Blood Status: Half-blood
Wand: Holly, 11 inches, phoenix feather
Picture:
Uniform: No changes from the usual uniform.
Family background: Briefly raised by his parents James and Lily Potter in Godric's Hollow before Voldemort killed them, then reluctantly taken in by his aunt and uncle Petunia and Vernon Dursley. Raised alongside his cousin Dudley.
Personality: Harry is known for being a very brave and selfless person who is willing to do whatever it takes to help those close to him or anyone in danger even if it means putting himself in great danger. He is also strong-willed and willing to stand up for himself if he has to. Harry is very willing to put the needs of those close to him before his own and is very trusting of his friends. Despite all of this, some people believe him to be arrogant (including Snape, who views him as being very much like his father) and he is known for having a rather hot temper. Harry can also be impulsive, which leads him to act before he thinks in certain situations. However, he is also very kind, compassionate, and respectful.
Sample: "Haven't you noticed? McGonagall's been on edge recently. All the professors have."
There was no denying when Hermione made a good point, and this time Harry was inclined to agree with her as the trio trekked through the halls of the castle. Harry had seen it for himself not that long ago, how McGonagall had seemed particularly snappy, and he had been wondering what the cause of it was. Perhaps it had something to do with the extra adults he had seen glimpses of around Hogwarts. "You don't suppose it's just to do with the fact that Voldemort-"
"Do you really have to say that so recklessly, Harry?" Ron asked. Harry just rolled his eyes a little in response. He still wondered why others seemed so afraid to say the Dark Lord's name. He was back, wasn't he? Why should they be afraid to say the name?
"Anyway. You don't suppose McGonagall and the others are edgy just because of... well, you know. Or do you think maybe those others that have been wandering around might have something to do with it?" Harry asked. Hermione stopped, and Harry did as well with Ron beside him. Surely Hermione had noticed the others around the school. How could she not have?
"...I don't know."
There weren't many times Harry could recall Hermione ever sounding uncertain before then. That fact made him just a little more uncertain himself. What was going to happen to them during that year at Hogwarts?
